Bio:

Stephen Rochet Lopez (he/him/his) is a New York-based actor. Born and raised in Florida to a Puerto Rican family, Stephen’s love for theater and movies began at a young age, growing up just 15 minutes away from Universal Studios. Inspired by the fusion of music and storytelling, Stephen’s passion for acting and performance led him to study at the UCF Conservatory.

 

Stephen’s recent credits include performing as Roger in the International Rent Japanese Tour (dir. Trey Ellett), as well as the Rent 25th Anniversary Tour (dir. Evan Ensign & Trey Ellett; choreo. Marlies Yearby) and Rent 20th Anniversary Tour (dir. Evan Ensign & Trey Ellett; choreo. Marlies Yearby). He has also performed in the Rock of Ages 10th Anniversary Tour (dir. Martha Banta).

 

His regional theater credits include Rock of Ages (Drew) at Slow Burn Theatre (dir. Patrick Fitzwater), Nine (Guido) at UCF Conservatory (dir. Earl Weaver), and Kiss of the Spider Woman (Warden) at UCF Conservatory (dir. Earl Weaver).

 

Stephen’s other credits include appearances in Billions (Guest Star, Showtime), Angels of Hope (Performer, CBS), and Blue Bloods (Lead, Student Film).

 

Stephen is a proficient musician, skilled in guitar, bass, and drums, and enjoys producing music in his free time. He is passionate about honoring the human experience and telling authentic stories through his work, always striving to connect with audiences on a deeper level.

 

Stephen is a proud member of AEA and is represented by DGRW Talent Agency.
